So sorry to hear you got infested by the chillins! Hope you get better soon! :D Hang in there!

From scooby on Wed, Sep 03, 2008 at 11:51:58

Thanks Marion! So sad I missed out on your AMAZING banana chocolate chip pancakes! Sounds like you all had a fun time!! Maybe next year!

From marion on Wed, Sep 03, 2008 at 11:56:40

Oh yeah you missed out! ;) THe pancakes have special healing powers!!! You have now learned your lesson and will not miss it next year! :D Bring the wife and kids- our bacement was FULL of short people!

From scooby on Wed, Sep 03, 2008 at 12:05:24

I was totally thinking about it, but didn't want to get the entire primary sick (don't you just hate that when other's kids get your kids sick!!....) Well, if you say that those pancakes have super healing powers, then I interpret that to mean that you are telling me I should make some to feel better. Ok, whatever you say doc.... I mean who am I to go against a medical professional's orders??!! :P

From marion on Wed, Sep 03, 2008 at 12:14:54

Yes you should! The syrup recipe is on my monday blog.. it is SOOO stinkin' good. The pancakes (don't let the secret out) are Krusteaz with mashed banana and chocolate chips sprinkled in when you pour the batter on the griddle. You can use whatever pancake recipe you like, 1 to 2 mashed bananas and about 6-7 chocolate chips per pancake! Go forth and heal thy self!!!

From Kelli on Wed, Sep 03, 2008 at 15:53:38

Wait just a minute!!! Scooby, we are on a diet, remember?? You only get to eat those pancakes on special occasions, and you missed it! I FORBID you to eat any!

But way to "trick" Marion into giving us the recipe!

Get better soon, all y'all!

hee hee hee! pretty sneaky eh? ok, I'll save the pancakes for tomorrow for my middle son's 4th birthday breakfast! In the meantime, I'll have to stick to oreos to pull me through! :) Kelli, by the way, spoke to my doc and he wants to send me to a pulmonologist @ Utah Valley. Made an appt. and don't get in to see them until Oct. 15th.... HELLO! I need help now!!! Left msg. w/doc to ask for different prescription, so we'll see what happens next.......

From marion on Wed, Sep 03, 2008 at 22:09:53

If you CANT breath they need to help you ASAP! Breathing is a bit important!!!

From Kelli on Wed, Sep 03, 2008 at 23:31:27

Yes, I agree. we all must breathe! But I do agree on the pulmonologist thing. They know what they are doing and can fix you better and faster. Hey, you can get hospitalized like Scott did and they will squeeze you in the next day?!?

Happy 4th birthday to your son tomorrow. I guess you can have a treat---but just one, mind you!

From marion on Wed, Sep 03, 2008 at 23:45:10

FOR SURE see a specialist! It is the ONLY way to go! Several of my kids have had athsma problems and it is the most scary thing in the world, right up there with anaphylaxis (I've had a few with severe alergies too) My 4 year old starts school tomorrow and has been hospitalized for severe allergic reactions several times and I am really freaked out about him going to school. AAAhhhhhh!!!!

Breathe Scooby, breathe!! What is your name scooby? And Happy Birhtday to your son. My 4 year old turns 5 next week! I wonder what magic breakfast I can talk him into?

Ok- I was told it at Hobble Creek- but I can't remember! PLEEEEEEase tell me again!! I guess it can just stay Scooby FOREVER!!! FOREVER FOREVER!!! (like in Sandlot?)

From jona on Thu, Sep 04, 2008 at 00:09:25

I think I told Kelli, but I'm not sure if I'm allowed. He may like his anonymity.

I may have to give clues, then I can say I didn't really say. But then again he may be watching this blog.

From Kelli on Thu, Sep 04, 2008 at 10:27:08

I think it is safe to say that he is watching his own blog. I think I only know his last name---or I should say knew it. I forgot.

I like Scooby. It works for me.

From scooby on Thu, Sep 04, 2008 at 12:18:41

So, I thought about the whole anonymity thing and maybe that's why I was a bandit @ Hobble Creek.....maybe I don't want others to know my secret identity, but then I thought....what am I trying to hide here? NOTHING! I'M FAST!! and I WANT people to know who that fast guy was that just passed them!

TOTALLY JOKING! I'm lucky if I'm not the one getting passed! Real name: Jared Scoubes; last name rhymes with robes, but everyone always mispronounces it Scoobs or Scoobees, hence the nickname Scooby and I finally figured, "why fight it!" After all, I do love my Scooby snacks.

My children's rooms are entirely decked out with Scooby doo stuff that I have received as gifts over the years - kinda fun! Conner, my oldest, is 5 and started kindergarten last week. Oliver, second, is 4 today and started preschool last week. Mom stays home with baby, Dylan, who is 16 months and the ham of the kids so far. And yes.....I am watching my blog.....always watching.....

Marion - nice reference to Sandlot - CLASSIC MOVIE!!

Kelli - still waiting to hear from the doctor for a "plan B" until I can see the pulmonologist.

Jon - I would like to have seen some clues....but not much rhymes with Jared....ha!
